My Story

Originally from Swansea, South Wales, I set out at the age of 19 with a dream of becoming a personal fitness trainer at UCLA. Along the way, I was determined to improve my golf game — starting with a handicap of 9.

 

Through hard work and dedication, I reduced my handicap to 6 within 8 months and then reached scratch just 4 weeks later. In 1995, I had the privilege of shooting 6 consecutive rounds of 65, earning the title of Most Improved Golfer in California.

After finishing my studies, I returned to the UK and launched my golf career at Cams Hall Estate Golf Club in Fareham, Hampshire, where I had the opportunity to work with the highly experienced Jason Neve. There, I honed my skills in custom fitting, coaching, sports psychology and mindset, club management and retail.  I then earned my PGA Diploma and further developed my experience working at golf clubs across southern England, and sports equipment suppliers.

In the last decade, I have settled in Buckinghamshire and worked at Gerrard’s Cross Golf Club. In 2014, I took a leap into the world of golf technology with Foresight Sports Europe. Since then, I've had the privilege of helping thousands of golfers enhance their game with the latest technology.

The dream of owning my own studio began when I started with Foresight. Since then, I've had the pleasure of installing over 400 simulators. Fast forward to 2025, and my family and I moved into a new home, complete with a larger studio space. The new studio is more spacious, featuring a refreshment area and a bathroom for added convenience.

Outside of golf, I’m passionate about family life and tennis and Football. I am on the commitee at the local club and play regularly team and league tournaments. As a lifelong Swansea City supporter, I now share that love of the game with my whole family.
